Betty Cleo "Auntie Dee" Laughlin of Crawfordsville died Saturday at Hickory Creek Nursing home. She was 91.

She was born October 24, 1920, at Cerro Gordo, Illinois, to Walter J. and Ellen A. (Hamilton) Cornwell. She married James H. Laughlin on December 24, 1938, at Red Key. He is deceased.

Survivors include son Ronald L. (Beverly) Laughlin of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania; daughter Betty J. (Larry) Austin of Crawfordsville; sisters Margueritte Yelensky and Juanita Rutledge, both of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother Pierce Cornwell and sisters Maxine Shinniman and Josephine Armstrong, also are deceased.

Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with the Rev. Steve Wilke officiating.

Burial will be at Cerro Gordo Cemetery (Illinois) at 2:00 p.m. EST Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Welfare League.
