Lanah was the eldest daughter (of two daughters) and second of the four children of George Titman, III and Agnes Morgan. Her siblings were Benjamin Titman, George Titman, IV, and Jane Titman. Lanah married Walter Wilson on 12 October 1820 in Sussex County (now Warren County).

There are two monuments for Lanah on the Wilson lot. There is a small original stone (transcription below) and a large obelisk, each side of the monument is inscribed with the name and dates for one of the three wives or for Walter.
