McConnell died Friday, July 22, 2005, in Decatur.
Born Aug. 20, 1920, in Paradise, she was a retired nurse's aid.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Iva, Lorene and Jackie; and three brothers Chris, Jeff and Avery Erwin.
She is survived by two daughters, Darlynn Jennings and husband, Bo, of Boyd and Maxie Hubbell and husband, Herb, of New Mexico; four grandchildren, Clifton Day and wife, Deidra, Timothy Jenning, Trent Jennings and Tiffany Read and husband, Jason; six great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jacob Day, Triston and Kaiya Read, Justin and Misty Wolf; and numerous nieces and nephews.
