SANDY RIDGE -- Mrs. Matilda Cartwright,
a resident here for years, died
Friday morning. She was in her seventy-
ninth year and was a native of
Bald Eagle valley, a daughter of John
Stonebraker. Her second husband,
Charles Cartwright, died thirteen years
ago. Two sisters, Mrs. Asbury Miller
and Mrs. Martha Miles, both residents
of Tyrone and these children survive:
Michael Britton [sic], Frederick, Edward
and Mrs. Alice Mills, of Sandy Ridge,
and Mrs. Margaret Pence, of Kentucky.
The funeral will be held Sunday
afternoon.
