Funeral services were to be at 2:00 p.m. today in First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jess Bean officiating. Burial was to be in the Harrisonburg cemetery under direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Survivors are his wife, Ernestine Young Peyton of Jonesville; two sons, E.Y. Peyton of Jonesville and Joe W. Peyton of Shreveport; two brothers L.D. Peyton of Bentonia, Miss and J.D. Peyton of Winnsboro; a sister, Mrs. Sam Duke of Jackson, Miss., seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
