Oleva Coleen Reeher was born April 1, 1889 in Grove City Township, Mercer Co., Pa. Oleva's parents were Daniel & Sarah Reeher.

Daniel Reeher was born May 7, 1851 in Mercer Co., Pa. He passed away on May 7, 1925 in Hickory, Lawrence Co., Pa. Daniel's parents were Andrew Reeher & Susan Cribbs.

Oleva's mother was Sarah Reeher. She was born Feb. 10, 1851 in Blacktown, Mercer, Pa. Sarah died Aug. 19, 1926. Her parents were Jacob Reeher & Mary Ann Shuster.

Oleva's had 3 brothers they were:

Orestes L. Reeher, born 1876 Pa.
Harry L. Reeher, born 1878 Pa.
Floyd Gerald Reeher, born 1881 Pa.

On May 20, 1908, Oleva Coleen Reeher married Willard Franklin Knauff, in Mahoning Co., Ohio. Willard was born May 26, 1887 in Malinta, Henry Co., Ohio. Willard's parents were America Catherine Harman (1866-1891) & Fredrick Herman Knauff (1858-1940.) Fredrick's parents were Johann Adam (1824-1899) & Elisabeth Ifft-Knauff (1827-1905.) America's parents were John T. Harman (1848-1881) and Isabella D. Aurand (1847-1877.)

Oleva & Willard adopted a daughter, Helen Marie Knauff. She was born in 1910. On Nov. 3, 1928 she married Howard J. Jones in Adrian, Lenawee Co., Michigan. Howard was born in Michigan in 1909 to George Jones & Theresia Boyer-Jones.

On the 1930 Census, Helen & her son, Willard A. Jones showed up living in Hickory, Lawrence Co., Pa., with her parents, Willard & Oleva, and her 4 year old step sister, Maxine. Helen's son Willard, was less than a year old at the time. I have not found any other records for Helen or her son, but she is listed on both of her parent's obituaries as a step daughter, Mrs. Helen Echart of Kansas City, Mo.

Willard & Oleva had a daughter, Maxine Marie Knauff, born Oct. 2, 1925, in New Brighten, Beaver Co., Pa. Maxine died from pneumonia on Nov. 24, 1932 in Hickory Township, Lawrence Co., Pa. Maxine was only 7 years old at her death.

Oleva & Willard moved quite often, according to the U.S. Census they lived:

1900 - Elk Creek, Erie, Pa.
1910 - New Castle, Lawrence, Pa.
1912 - Greenville, Mercer, Pa.
1920 - Zelienpple, Butler, Pa.
1930- Hickory, Lawrence, Pa.
1944 - Adrian, Lenawee, Michigan
1959 - Conneaut, Ashtabula, Ohio

Oleva Coleen Reeher-Knauff died Feb. 13, 1972, in Erie, Erie Co., Pa. at Hamot Hospital. Oleva slipped on the icy Conneaut Post Office steps and broke her hip as well as other complications. Willard Franklin Knauff died at Ashtabula County Nursing Home, on Dec. 9, 1874.

Willard & Oleva spent the last years of their lives in Conneaut, Ashtabula, Ohio. Willard's brother & sister in law, Carl & Carrie Knauff, lived in Conneaut, as well as several other relatives. Willard & Oleva were members of the Four Square Gospel Church in Conneaut, Ohio.
