Lucille Lacefield Bickers, 94, of Carrollton, KY., died on Thursday evening, December 22, 2011 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab Center in Carrollton, KY.

She was born on August 21, 1917 in Glencoe, Gallatin County, KY., the daughter of the late Henry R. and Delia Gullion Jennings. She was a housewife and a had formerly worked in the restaurant industry doing various jobs. She had also previously worked for the Conn Organ Company in Madison, IN. She was of the baptist faith.

She will be missed by her sons, Ron and Gilbert Lacefield both of Carrollton, KY., a sister, Virginia Southworth of Carrollton, KY., three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, Gilbert E. Lacefield in 1964 and her 2nd husband, Jim Bickers in 2010, four sisters, Irene Jennings, Martha Ward, Rollo Mae Doll and Zeonbia Braun, brothers, Bernard and Clifford Jennings.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Jerry Summers officiating the funeral service. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carrollton Christian Church Fellowship Renewal Fund in care of the funeral home.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Fuenral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
