Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 21st from 2 until 8 pm. Service for Bert will be on Thursday the 22nd at 11 am at the funeral home.

Bert was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He dropped out of high school to help support his family. He enjoyed hockey bowling and at one time had the highest triple in Hamilton.
His family relocated to Detroit, where his brother, Harry told him to stay home to take care of their mother, and Harry joined the Army. Bert was later drafted as well. He served in Germany during WWII as a prison guard, near heavy artillery, which damaged his hearing. After the war, he worked for Ford Motor Co. for 30 years. After retiring from Ford, he did construction for 10 years.
