DEATH CALLS H. N. MADISON, LODI MERCHANT

Harry N. Madison, prominent Lodi business man, passed away at a local hospital at an early hour yesterday morning from a heart attack following an illness of two days. He was a native of California, aged 61 years. Madison was born in Tracy and resided in Pleasanton and Livermore before coming to Lodi. He had conducted a general merchandise store at the corner of Oak and Sacramento Streets for the past 33 years and was an extensive owner of Lodi property. He was a member of Lodi lodges of Masons, Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias. He was the husband of Sarah E. Madison of Lodi; father of Mrs. Miriam Woodside, Ventura; Lloyd T. and Cedric M. Madison of Lodi; brother of Mrs. Ida Anderson, Livermore; Mrs. Maud Bruns and Mrs. Clara Allen, Lodi. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home of O. H. Wells & Son, with Christian Science and Odd Fellows services there and the Masons conducting the services in Lodi Memorial Mausoleum, where the body will be entombed.

MADISON - In Lodi, February 22, 1932, Harry N. Madison, beloved husband of Sarah E. Madison of Lodi, loving father of Mrs. Marian Woodside of Ventura, Lloyd T. Madison and Cedric M. Madison, both of Lodi; brother of Mrs. Ida Anderson, Mrs. Maude Bruns and Mrs. Clara Allen, all of Lodi; a native of California, aged 61 years. The funeral will be held Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 2 p. m., from the O. H. Wells & Son funeral parlors, under the auspices of Christian Science Church and Lodi I. O. O. F. Lodge. Lodi Lodge of Mason will conduct services at the entombment in Lodi Memorial Mausoleum. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.

Last Rites In Honor Of H. N. Madison

LODI OFFICE STOCKTON RECORD, Feb. 25 - Throngs of Lodians attended funeral services yesterday afternoon for Harry N. Madison, Lodi merchant for more than 30 years, who died Monday morning, following an illness of two days. Services were held in the O. H. Wells & Son funeral home, with Christian Science and I. O. O. F. services. Lodi Lodge of Masons had charge of the services at the Lodi Memorial Mausoleum, where entombment was made. Masses of flowers expressed the sympathy of the community. Pallbearers were H. J. Tolliver, N. D. Whitaker, John Tecklenberg, G. M. Steele, H. Haabesland and Glenn Wright.
