A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Boyce Verner King, Sr. and Minnie Taylor King, she was a homemaker and attended Overbrook Gospel Chapel, Greenville.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Edward Conway and Donna Myers of Augusta, Georgia; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy Myers Byrum and George Byrum of Winston-Salem, N.C.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Chaplain George Byrum. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 11:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wood Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Youth Camp/Camp Hope c/o John Schneider, treasurer, 208 Greencastle Way, Marietta, S.C. 30062.
