San Mateo TIMES, 15 June 1949, p. 10: "Adrian Clow, whose engagement to Edward Spreckels Walsh was recently
announced at a small tea given by Mrs. John Hooker at her home in The Carolands. The bride-elect is the daughter of Harry Clow Jr. of Lake Forest, Ill., and the sister of Harry Clow III and Mrs. Anthony Hooker. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Walsh of Burlingame and Beverly Hills, and the grandson of Mrs. Rudolph Spreckels and the late Mr. Spreckels."



Adrian ("Muffie") Clow married Edward Spreckels Walsh in California on August 27, 1949. They had three daughters and one son.
