Leo Emerson Abbott served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enlisted on January 17, 1941 in the National Guard, and was assigned to the Field Artillery. He was joined in marriage to Helen Leath Gleason on August 27, 1948 in Monticello, Indiana. (Bio by: Jay Lance)
