68 year old Bradley B. Acuncius of McNabb, Illinois died Tuesday at Heartland Healthcare Center in Henry.
Brad was a 1962 graduate of Hopkins High School in Granville, Illinois. He retired from the Illinois State Police after 29 years, District 5A (Current District 17) at the rank of Sergeant.
He belonged to Troopers Lodge 41, McNabb Business & Betterment Association, Granville Rotary, McNabb American Legion, Putnam County FFA Alumni and Bureau/Putnam County Crime Stoppers.
Brad is survived by his wife Sharon and his daughter, Officer Beth Ann Acuncius, of the Normal Police Department.
Services for Bradley "Brad" Acuncius will be at 10:30a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Dysart–Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville.
Graveside services with full military honors to follow at Friends Cemetery, Rural McNabb. Visitation is from 4 to 8p.m. A law enforcement walk through is planned for 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
