William Crum, 77, of Manassas Park, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1995 at Prince William Hospital.

He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Manassas Park. He retired from REA Express as a freight handler after 23 years of service. He was a U.S. Army/Air Force veteran who served in World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Elizabeth Crum, who died in 1988; one son, David L. Lucas; one sister, Florence Crum; and one brother, Lawrence Crum.

Survivors include five daughters, Jean Stoneberger of Luray, Linda Quaid of Nokesville, Marilyn Mullins of Roanoke, and Karen Marshall and Teresa Weber, both of Manassas; two sons, Gary Crum of Manassas Park and Robert Crum of Manassas; two sisters, Virginia Dolan of Kenyour, R.I. and Anna Bell Sheldon of Shrewsberry, W. Va.; two brothers, Albert Crum of Alexandria and Russell Crum of Falls Church; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home of Manassas, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. the Rev Denver Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens with military honors.
