Lt Thomas Allen was one of the rebels from the Easter Rising, April 1916. From Moyvalley, Co Meath. He was shot whilst in the Four Courts Garrison and taken to Richmond Hospital where he died. Left a wife and 3 children. Originally buried in Glasnevin but moved in 1917 to Longwood.
