USA His parents were Ulrich Kuebler b. 6 June 1808 Germany d. 12 Sept. 1864 Washtenaw Co. Mi. and Anna Maria Bohnet b. 25 Mar. 1806 Germany d. 1858 Washtenaw Co. Mi. Spouse No. l was Christina Brasamle b. 8 Nov. 1845 d. 15 Aug. 1884 Clare Co. Mi. They were married in 1868 in Washtenaw Co. Mi. Burial unknown. Spouse No. 2 Rosine Caroline Kleiner. They married in 1885.
Matthew Keebler served with Company D of the Twentieth Regiment of the Michigan Infantry from 1864 until the close of the Civil War. In 1876 Matthew and Christina moved from Washtenaw County to Clare where they settled on a farm.
