Nancy Caudle Juett, 95, of Danville, Ky., formerly of Cynthiana, Ky. died Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Charleston Health Care Center, in Danville.

She was born in Hopkinsville, Ky., March 2, 1916, to the late James Richard and Nannie Stowe Caudle. Mrs. Juett was a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, was a member of the Goldenaires, the WMU and served as church secretary. While living in Cynthiana she was a member of Womens' Club of Harrison County, the Garden Club, Thursday Club and Bridge Club. She was active in the Exercise Class at Senior Citizens and loved to do Counted Cross Stitch needlework. Mrs. Juett had been a Home Economics teacher and was instrumental in starting the U of K Adult Education Program.

Her husband, John N. Juett, son, James William Juett and three brothers, Richard, Howard and Amos Caudle preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Nancy (Jack) Hood, Harrodsburg, Ky. and two granddaughters, Emily Stowe (Caleb) Bottoms and Mary Katherine "Katie" (Will) Jones. one great grandson, Mack Jones.

Services will be conducted 2 PM Monday, December 26, 2011, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by Dr. Fred Hood. Friends may call after 12:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Cynthiana Baptist Church, Harrodsburg Baptist Church or Heritage Hospice of Danville, Ky.
