Born in Dartmouth, he was son of the late Alfred Guilmette, Sr. and the late Leontine (Lepage) Guilmette.
A veteran of WWII, he served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was a laborer for a roofing company. He also worked at Apponequet Regional High School, Lakeville.
Mr. Guilmette attended St. George Church, Westport. He was a former Golden Gloves boxer and American True Fox Hunter.
Survivors include his loving companion: Barbara Fritz and many nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Germaine "Jimmy" Guilmette, Alfred Guilmette, Jr., Arthur Guilmette, Sr. and Jeanne Forest.
