Lt. Bobby was a dog belonging to Capt D.C. Harris. He was commissioned as a lieutenant, and always present at training classes at Fort Benning.
He was the official mascot of the 121st Blue Bonnet Infantry of the Georgia National guard.
He died after falling down a hotel elevator shaft while Capt Harris was visiting friends there.
He was buried on February 1, 1936 with full military honors.
