MRS. MARGARET LOUISE MAYO SMITH, 83, of Jeffersonville, Ind., formerly of Wayne, died July 17, 1984, in Louisville, Ky., after a long illness. She was born Oct. 23, 1900 in Wayne County, a daughter of the late Beverly Glenn and Willie Conn Mayo. She was preceded in death in 1981 by her husband, Roy Smith. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Alexander of Wayne; three sons, Alfie Smith of Huntington; Olin Smith of Jeffersonville and Harold Smith of Buena Park, Calif.; one Sister, Mrs. Inez Abrems of Kenova; two brothers, Keith Mayo of Huntington and Kile Mayo of Chesapeake, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, by Rev. Robert Dille. Burial was in Dock's Creek Cemetery, Kenova
