Birth and death dates from Missouri death certificate 27775. It lists his wife as Nellie Lee Barrett and his parents as Henry T. and Addie (Thorpe) Barrett.

From the Skidmore New Era, January 4, 1906, page 1:
"Marriage in The Home.
A beautiful home wedding was celebrated at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Collins, three miles northwest of Skidmore at 12 o'clock on Sunday, Dec. 24, 1905. Mr. Frank Barrett and Nellie Collins were united in wedlock by Rev. W. H. Welton, in the presence of about thirty relatives and near friends of the contracting parties. The guests arose to receive the bride and groom, having been arranged according to the respective families on either side of the room.

Frank Collins, brother, and Miss Amanda __akely, cousin of the bride served as escorts of the bride and groom, and waited at the banquet.

This was one of the most beautiful, and enjoyable home weddings of the season. The appointments at the home were modest, and the decorations were green and white. On the background were the suggestive letters "B" and "C." Following the ceremony were congratulations so joyously participated in by all who were present, that it was taken as an approval of the contracting parties, after which the wedding feast was served in three courses. Many valuable and useful presents were received from friends at home and from abroad. Mr. and Mrs. Barrett are well known to the readers of the New Era, and we need only to join in our congratulations with all who are acquainted with them, and bespeak for them a happy relationship in their new life."

From the Skidmore News, December 28, 1916, page 1:
"Married Eleven Years
Sunday, Dec. 24, 1916, was the 11 wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Barrett.

Mrs. Barrett had prepared a sumptuous dinner, and invited the immediate relatives and Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Welton in to help them celebrate the occasion.

Rev. Welton was the minister who, eleven years ago, united this estimable couple in the holy bonds of matrimony.

All enjoyed the day to the fullest extent and expressed a desire for Mr. and Mrs. Barrett to spend many more such happy anniversaries.

The relatives present are: Mr. and Mrs. David Wright and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Barrett and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Barrett, Mr. and Mrs. George Collins and family and Harry Barrett."
