Mary Pincock (1923-2010)
Mary Fullmer Pincock, 87, of Rexburg, died July 21, 2010, of natural causes. She was born April 2, 1923, in Salem to Cecil Ross Fullmer and Ida Rose Sommer.
She attended Hibbard Grade School and Madison High School.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She married Garner Blake Pincock on Feb. 20, 1940, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She loved to cook and share her food with others. She read cookbooks and enjoyed flower gardening. Her two favorite stores were Food Center and Broulim's. She loved to visit with family and friends. She was very proud of her family.
She worked as the deli manager at the Rexburg Food Center and for 10 years she worked at American Potato.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Nanett Pincock, Lisa Bavert and Kendra Pincock, during her last three weeks at Bert and Nanett's home.
She is survived by children Ann (Paul) Bottino of Delaware, RoseLee (Gordon) Koon of Burton, Sallie (Scott) Miller of Arizona, Shirley Romans of Issaqueh, Wash., Joan (Kyle) Bybee of Archer, Jim (Jill) Pincock of Salt Lake City, Bert (Nanett) Pincock of Lyman and Jill (Grant) Maples of Salt Lake City; as well as 33 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Claire (Jack) Webb of Salt Lake City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her mother and father; sisters Vera and Iva; brothers Guy and Glen; and two daughters, Diana and Jean.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at the Rexburg LDS 15th Ward Chapel, 166 S. First East, Bishop Brett Sampson officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home and again from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
