Major League Baseball Player. Played second base for the 1950 National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies, nicknamed "Whiz Kids." His major league career was from 1949 to 1952, his final season was with the St. Louis Browns. He continued to play Triple "A" baseball and was MVP of the International League, with Toronto, in 1956.
