Wife of Juan Alvarado. Jun and Luz were married 2/26/1927 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Juan had previous been married to Maria Zubia. She died 10/11/1925, but left behind three children: Belen, Carlos, and Crisostomo Jr. Juan was a Southern Pacific Section hand. He lived with his family at the SP Castaic Section Camp. Juan survived, but suffered extensive injuries.
Four Alvarado children were killed in the disaster: Belin, Carlos, Antonio and 10 day-old Christomo Jr., whose remains have not been recovered.
