Odelia D. "Odie" Ramminger, 86, of Cty Hwy J, New Holstein, died Friday evening, Dec. 30, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She is the former Odelia Wagner, born Nov. 26, 1925, in Jericho, Wis., daughter of the late Charles and Louisa (Olbrich) Wagner.

Odie attended schools in Jericho. On May 8, 1946, she married Erwin P. Ramminger at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho. The couple celebrated 50 years together before Erv preceded her in death on March 8, 1997.

Along with being a devoted and loving mom and grandma, Odie worked for many years at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein, until her retirement. She also worked for Hansen Glove in Chilton and for seven years she and her husband ran Erv's Bar in New Holstein. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Christian Women.

Odie's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed word puzzles, rose gardening, listening to polka music, playing cards, especially sheepshead and bowling with her husband, Erv.

Survivors include her five children, Carol (Dennis) Melger, Joyce (Dave) Peterson, David (Vicky) Ramminger, Diane (Jeff) Cutler, Doris Ramminger; her grandchildren, Lori (Steve) Steinert, Kelly (Matt) Lau, Paula (Barett) Steenrod, Kate (Caleb) Horn, Charlene Kuhl; step-grandchildren, Victoria (Josh) Holland, Robin Cutler (Nora Shields); great-grandchildren, Bradley and Stephanie Steinert; step-great-grandchildren, Renee (Rick) Bowerman, Ridley and Haley Holland; and step-great-great-grandchild, Addie Bowerman. She is also survived by her sister, Delphine Konen; a brother-in-law, Elmer Nett; and many other in-laws, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorine (Emmanuel) Nadler, Esther Nett; four brothers, Reno (Helen) Wagner, Bill (Frances) Wagner, Ambrose (Hattie) Wagner, Martin Wagner; and a brother-in-law, Harvey Konen.

Funeral services for Odelia will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel. Deacon Pat Knier will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of services. A Rosary service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Entombment will take place on Wednesday at Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
