Mr. Guenther was born June 3, 1902, at Beemer, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Guenther. He died suddenly, Friday evening, February 4, at the home of Dr. R. J. McNamara, where he had gone a short time before as he felt ill. He had been ill the past 2 months. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He came to the Crofton community in 1911 and and had resided there and farmed since then. He was a member of the St. Rose Church, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. He never married.
Survivors are 5 brothers-Casper, Henry and Fritz, of Crofton; Ferdinand of Fordyce, and Joseph, of Columbus, Wisconsin. Three brothers preceded him in death.
