Marguerite Hayes Gruber, 83, passed away peacefully at her San Jose home November 8, 2004, with her family by her side and the support of Hospice. She came to Jacksonville in 1948 with her husband, Albert D. Gruber. They were married for 53 years when he died in 1995. She is survived by four children, Albert D. Gruber, Jr., Thomas William Gruber, Marguritte Ann Brengle, and Deborah Jo Ray; eight loving grandchildren, John Selby Brengle, Marguerite Grace Bringle, Melissa Gruber, and Lena Gruber Langley, Edward Gruber, Marcel Gruber, David Ray and Sarah Ray; and four great-grandchildren.
