Charlotte Rice Mason
Charlotte Rice Mason, 80 Of Aston, PA Charlotte R. Mason, 80, died peacefully at her home on December 23, 2011, with her family by her side. Born on August 9, 1931, in Honeybrook, PA, she was the daughter of the late William H. Rice and Margaret E. Rice. She lived most of her life in Media, PA. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Media. Charlotte was a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College and worked for The Dupont Company in her younger years. She was an avid salesperson for Avon for many years. She was a stong person in her unique ways. Her interests primarily included her very close, lifelong involvement with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward C. Mason, and her sister Dorothy Monaghan. Survivors include her sons Stephen Mason and wife Roxanne of Aston, PA and Edward Mason and wife Karen of Beckley, WV; daughter Susan Bissonette and husband Robert of Upper Darby, PA; sister Joan Boland and husband Joseph of Claymont, DE; seven much loved grandchildren and one great grandson as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Friday the 30th 10 AM at White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014. Visitation: 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment: Edgewood Memorial Park Glen Mills, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to Mount Hope United Methodist Church, 4020 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014.
