NEWPORT: Georgia Virginia Meyer, 75 years old, of Newport, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at The Holy Spirit Hospital. She was the widow of Jack P. Meyer Sr. and is survived by her children, Jack P. Meyer Jr. of Newport, Toby Meyer of Newport, Louise Kulp of Liverpool and Wendy Kimmel of Newport; brother, Steven Longwell of New Bloomfield and sister, Connie Geedy of Newport, eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10th, from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with the funeral at 11 a.m. There is a viewing from 10 a.m., until the funeral. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.
