Maurice Francis Ladenburger, 69, died Wednesday at his Homeland residence. Born in Oakley, Kan., Mr. Ladenburger lived in Homeland two years. He owned Laddy's Window Coverings for 30 years.

He served in the U.S. Army in 1953 and 1954.

Mr. Ladenburger was a member of the Optimists, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and volunteered with school anti-drug programs.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Eleanor; seven sons, David, Jeffrey and Gerald, all of Colorado, David York of Illinois, Robert York and William York, both of Oregon, and Michael York of Washington; five daughters, Tina Stuckey, Carla Nickels and Marla Korgan, all of Colorado, Linda Wall of Homeland and Lucinda McCann of Clovis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorena McConnell of Colorado; and two brothers, Willis and George, both of Kansas.

No services are planned. Inurnment will be in Kansas. Hemet Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions: A charity of the donor's choice.
