Death of Justice Baker. -
Samuel Baker, who was serving out his second term as a Justice of the Peace at Colusa, died at his residence on Thursday morning last, after a lingering illness of several weeks. Mr. Baker was a man against whom we have never heard a word, and he has been honorable and upright in all his dealings. He has been a resident of Colusa county for nearly a quarter of a century. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss.
