Kathy Burnette Sanders passed away Sep 11, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She is preceded in death by parents, James and Sara Burnette; sisters, Jeannie Martin and Teresa Nortoff; brother, Paul Burnette. Survivors are son, Chris Burnette (Leslie) of Iowa; brothers, Phill Burnette (Cindy) of Childersburg and Dennis Burnette (Deborah) of Fayetteville; sisters, Twanda Pappas (Chris) of Auburn, Lisa Martin of Auburn and Rita Shirey of Talladega; grandchildren, Light of her life Christon Burnette of Childersburg and Heidi Burnette of Iowa. Pallbearers are Ron Knapp, Justin Burnette, Joshua Shirey, Alan Burnette, Ryan Surette, Chris Pappas.
