Dewey Belcher, 58, of Blount on Campbells Creek, died Tuesday in McMillan Hospital, after a long illness.

He was a World War II veteran and a retired coal miner.

Surviving wife, Ruby and sons, Kenneth and Bruce Belcher of Blount, daughters, Mrs. Virginia Lee of Marietta, Ohio, Mrs. Marion Grillo of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Roberta Facemyer of Blount, sister, Miss Mae Belcher of Clarksburg, five grandchildren.

Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Free Will Baptist Church on Campbells Creek. Friends may call 6 p.m. today a Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle.
