Anna B. Bowers, 62, of 623 East High Street, Waynesburg, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 1982, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born March 1, 1920, in Graysville to Ralph and Grace Pearl Parson Bowers. Her early life was spent in the Graysville area, and for the past several years she lived in Waynesburg.

She attended the Rogersville Christian Church.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Doyle (Wilma) Kein of Kittanning; Mrs. Freda Tennant of Brownsville, Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) Thomas of Graysville and Mrs. Earl (Georgia) Lewis of Holbrook R.D. 1; two brothers, Edward of McDonald and Harold of Graysville and also several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Mrs. Loise Tharp and Mrs. Irma Kilgore and a brother, John Bowers.
