Our precious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Bernice Jeanette Briggs, 73, passed away, November 28, 1995 at a hospital in Bountiful after a long illness.
Born Aug. 13, 1922 in Salt Lake City, to Arthur Christopher and Hazel Charlotte Olsen Dahl. She married Leo Bennett Briggs, Aug. 14, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church, member of the Good Sam's Travel Club, and homemaker.
Survived by husband, of Salt Lake City; children, Sharon and Don Everett, of Midvale; Dale and Shirley Briggs, of Farmington; Lynn and Janet Briggs, of West Valley City; Ilene and Michael Roll, of Murray; Brent and Sandy Briggs, of Sandy; 25 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gaylen Dahl, of Boise, Idaho; Joseph and Jan Dahl, of Roy; sister-in-law, Helen Dahl Feltman, of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by brothers, Harold and Darrell, sister, Marian. "Mom, we'll miss you".
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 1995, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood, where friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to service. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
