Service for Eva Cross, 101, a 74-year Spokane resident, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home, Rev. Donald Ott officiating.
Private burial service will be at the Pines Cemetery.
Mrs. Cross died Saturday at her home.
The daughter of Calvin and Mary Jane (Black) Conner, she was born Sept. 16, 1882, in Tennessee.
She came to Spokane in 1910 as the bride of William D. Cross. They were married at Knoxville, Tenn., where she was attending nursing school. Her husband, who died in 1957, was with Fuller Paints for many years and later operated a glazing business.
Mrs. Cross was a charter and 50-year member of East Spokane Homemakers Club and a member of Edgecliff Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Walden (Edith) Chambers of the Spokane Valley; three sons, William W. and Allen S. Cross, both of the Spokane Valley, and Bert C. Cross of Moscow; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Eva Nelson of Clinton, Tenn.
The family suggests memorial gifts may be sent to Edgecliff Baptist Church, S402 Coleman Rd.
