John was the son of John Charles Flynn, Sr. and Rosa A. Baker. He married Nora Wincie Eldridge (daughter of Walter Wilson Eldridge and Maria Ida Shoup) on 7 Oct 1911 in Goshen, Elkhart, Indiana. They had four children:

Rosemary Noreen
Annabell Mae
Josephine Loretta
Forrest Leonard

His wife divorced him and remarried in 1922. John was shot three years after that and left beside the road. They never did find who murdered him.

I can not contact the cemetery for help until after Memorial Day. BUT...where did you find the record that said he was buried at Sparta? I can not find any records that state this BUT the records I have are based on tombstone inscriptions. Of course, if there is no tombstone, then there is no photo to take.
