Died at 1 p.m. Saturday at Field Memorial Hospital Centreville, Miss. He was 74, a native of Halls, Tenn., and a resident for over 50 years of Gloster, Miss. He was the retired owner of a wholesale grocery firm in Mississippi.

Body at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, with religious services at 3 p.m. Sunday at Galilee First Baptist Church. Burial in Roseland Cemetery, Gloster.

Pallbearers: Keith Foster, J. L. Adams, Tyler Conerly, Hansford McKey, J. Edward Reynolds, Dr. O. P. Waldrep, Hansel Huff and Calville Jackson.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Aaron Sumrow; two sons, James Harold Sumrow Jr., Baton Rouge, and Joe A. Sumrow, Gloster; three sisters, two brothers and six grandchildren.

He was a member and deacon of Galilee First Baptist Church and Gloster Masonic Lodge.
