The Job Stockton in this memorial is unlikely to be the brother of Major Robert Stockton (d 1805), since Stockton genealogies and other references at ancestry.com show that Major Robert's brother Job died in 1771 (without issue). It is possible that the Job Stockton (d 1820) in this memorial is the son of Major Robert, whose children were Ebenezer, Job, James, Elizabeth, Nancy, and Mary. The genealogies do not give any dates for Major Robert's son Job, so this is unproven. Unless there is other evidence, it might
be best to remove the link between the Job Stockton (d 1820) in this memorial with the other family members since his relationship is not documented.

This Job Stockton, who died in 1820, was a son of the Robert Stockton who died in 1805. He is not a son of Robert Stockton who was born c.1699 and died c.1744 as you show. It would be greatly appreciated if you would connect Job to the younger Robert Stockton who died in 1805, memorial #8342505.
