Paul Gore, born Jan 21, 1900 at Carl Junction, MO; died Oct 4, 1984. Graduated from high school in Joplin, MO, attended Drury College, Springfield, MO.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. In 1919 he came to Oklahoma and had a part in the early oil boom. Retired from Finanace Division of Revenue Department of Oklahoma City on Jan 1, 1970.

He was a member of Myrtle Lodge 145 for more than 50 years; a dual member of Broadway Circle Lodge No 546 and served as Master of that lodge in 1966; a charter member of Okla. Lodge of Research & Service and served as Master inn 1968, appointed Grand Representative from Oklahoma to the state of Montana in 1969; was elected to receive the 33rd degree Inspector General Honorary in Oct 1961, and was coronated Dec 15, 1961 in McAlester, OK.

He had been a member of Epworth Methodist Church since March 30, 1930, served on the board and as treasurer through some of the lean years.

Survivors are his wife, Josephine, of the home; daughters, Mrs John Belisle of San Marcus, TX; and Mrs William Tackett, Tulsa; grandchildren, Mrs Terry Belisle Shamblin, Karen Belisle, and Richard Gore Belisle, all of San Marcus; Deborah Tackett and William Tackett Jr, and one great granchild, Adam Gore Tackett, all of Tulsa.

Services will be at Epworth Methodist Church, Monday, Oct 8, 10 am. Funeral arrangements by Guardian Midtown. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Oklahoma or Epworth United Methodist Church, OKC.
