Born June 2, 1914 in Ogden, Utah, to Sherman D. and Alda P. Allen Rideout. Married David M. Hogan, July 28, 1939. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, November 20, 1986. She was a devoted member of the LDS Church serving in numerous positions including Primary and MIA president, Relief Society teacher and counselor and in more recent years as a temple worker.
She is most remembered for her very talented contribution to many roadshow and other ward and stake productions. Our home was often the scene of scripts, costumes and scenery. She had much to offer and shared it willingly.
She had a great love for the beauties of nature. She will be missed by her family, who appreciates the values she instilled in their lives. Thanks for being our homemaker.
Survived by children, Angie Pearce, S. David Hogan, Vickee Boswell, Kim M. (Janet) Hogan, Peggi (Neils) Peterson, Mary Christian, and R. Chris Hodges, 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lynn Roberts, Norma Pezely, and Ruth Soehlke.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, 1996 at 2 p.m. in the West Valley 2nd Ward, 2820 W. Lehman Ave. (3590 So.). Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road and on Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Burial,
