British Monarch. The Queen consort of King Stephen, she was the daughter of Eustace III, Count of Boulogne and Mary, Princess of Scotland. She married Stephen in 1125, and bore 5 children. She was a strong woman who stood by her husband and helped lead the country during a very dark time in history. By all accounts, theirs was a union of mutual love and devotion.
