George E. Beltz, 95, of 1301 Mickley Road, Whitehall Township, died Sunday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Bessie A. (David) Beltz and the late Catherine M. (Schaeffer) Beltz. He and his second wife were married 13 years in May.
Beltz was a car inspector for the Reading and Central railroads before retiring in 1964.
Born in Weatherly, he was a son of the late David and Ellen (Heiter) Beltz.
He was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Assembly of God Church, Orefield.
He was an Army veteran of World War I, serving in France.
Survivors: Wife; daughter Joyce, wife of Bright Heist of Old Zionsville; stepson, Harold Schaffer of Allentown; stepdaughter Arlene, wife of Marvin Adams of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two grandsons, two great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. Call 9-10 a.m. Wednesday.
