Advocate, Baton Rouge, LA - Mrs. E. A. Devall of Plank Road Is Called by Death. Funeral Will be Held This Morning with Services at Monte Sano Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Edward A. Devall of the Plank road passed away Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Gertie Beard of Howell. The funeral will be held from the home of another daughter, Mrs. Idell Babin of Howell at 10 o'clock this morning, with services at the Monte Sano presbyterian church and interment in the Devall cemetery. Rev. H. A. Davis will officiate at the funeral. Mrs. Devall, who was 69 years old, has been ill several days. She was the widow of the late Edward A. Devall who died a year ago. Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. Gertie Beard, Mrs. Idell Babin, Mrs. Hattie Shelton, Mrs. Stella Johnson all of Howell, and Mrs. Myrtie Crumbolt of Monte Sano; one son, Fred Devall of Monte Sano; a brother, Tom Robertson of Comite; a sister, Mrs. Liza Devall of Clarden City; and 16 grandchildren.
