Anna and her brother Williams parents were Joseph Annable, son of John Annable and Hannah Stewart. Joseph was born July 18, 1773 in East Haddam CT, and his wife Anna Crosby whom he married Aug 16, 1796, moved out of New London and to Albany New York in 1810. Joseph was a shipping merchant in New London until his move in 1810. Joseph died Sept 24, 1831 in Bethlehem NY, and his wife Anna Crosby died March 9, 1813 in Albany. Joseph then married Alma Sheldon, born April 28, 1785 in Adams MA, and died in Philadelphia Aug 4, 1875.
