Mrs Katie Larson, 79, a life-long resident of Readstown and area passed away Wednesday, July 18th in the Vernon Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Sat. at 2 pm at the North Kickapoo Lutheran Church, Pastor Glenn Davidson officiating. Burial was in the Church cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Elmer (Eva) Bolstad, Mrs Jim (Helen) Drake and Mrs Archie (Mable) Simpson; one brother, Charles Hall, all of Readstown.

Katie was the daughter of John Franklin and Elizabeth Elnora (Guist) Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Otto in 1923, Harold in 1945 and Russell in 1960; three sisters Lydia Johnson, Flora "Ella" Larson, Cora Drake; and three brothers William Hall, Ed Hall and Perry Hall.
