Services for Mrs. Vilate Woods, 88, of Mesa will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 18th Ward, 2228 E. Brown Road, Mesa. Mrs. Woods died Monday, April 2, 1990 at Mesa Lutheran Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, and one hour before services Friday at the LDS 18th Ward.
Mrs. Woods was born in Holladay, Utah and moved to Arizona 70 years ago. She was a homemaker, a member of the Mormon Church and active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Mrs. Woods was a musician and participated in various church and civic groups all her life.
