Eva Ann Earnhart (Ehrenhardt - from the Johan Philip Ehrenhardt born 14 Oct 1726 lineage south west Germany), daughter of Philip and Elizabeth Poole Earnhart, second wife of Henry Hileman, married 3 August 1852, Union Co., Illinois; mother of John Jefferson Hileman; wife of second husband Jesse Redwine, married December 11, 1859, mother of Alice Lucinda, Juleyan and Philip Redwine. She is also the mother of William Monroe Irvin born 1844, Sarah Elizabeth Cauble born 1845 (aka Sarah Earnhart) and Malinda Hazlewood born 1849; these three born prior to her marriage to Henry Hileman and son Henry Scott Everhart born 1856(aka Henry S. Hileman) born after Henry's death but prior to marriage of Jesse Redwine. It is unknown to me if she was married prior to Henry Hileman when William, Sarah and Malinda were born. Records of Eva in her son Jefferson's Bible starts with her marriage to Henry Hileman, although names and dates of birth of all her children are recorded there. Union County, Illinois, Guardian Court Records also verify these children as Eve's.

According to extensive research by Illinois historian Darrel Dexter, the Saint John's Church Records show Eve is buried near Henry and Henry's first wife Rachel but no marker was placed on her grave or that of her son Jefferson.

The original spelling of this family name is Ehrenhardt, changed to Earnhart.

§ By CL Hileman great granddaughter of John Jefferson Hileman. The "Jefferson Bible" is in my possession.
