Family lore states and Hileman Bible notes: Scott was told by his mother before her death in 1878, his father was an Everhart. (Scott was my great grandfather - father of my grandmother, Mary Everhart Hileman; and half-brother of John Jefferson Hileman, my grandfather's father)
