William "Arley" (Legal name, William Arlie Everhart), born to Henry Scott Everhart and Josephine "Lavina/Melvina" Jordan, who were married May 14, 1876, Cairo, Alexander Co., Ill., under the name of Henry S. HILEMAN and Lavina Jordan; daughter of Solomon Jordan, born 1813, and Elizabeth Shuping, born 1816, Rowan, North Carolina.


Arley leaves behind his wife Sallie Alice Cavaness, married November 1920, and four sons; James Henry, Arlie "Odell" and twins Lester and Chester Everhart.


There were 11 children documented in the John Jefferson Hileman Bible, born to Henry and Josephine Lavina Everhart, passed down to WE Hileman, grandson of Jefferson.

Arley and my grandmother Mary Jane Everhart Hileman, were brother and sister.
